BamBoek’s privacy policy

 

General

BamBoek is a sole trader, registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 71230270 and is represented by TAW Welcker, available under telephone number 0623890862 or thomas@bamboek.nl.

BamBoek respects the privacy of visitors to its website www.bamboek.nl and of all its clients, suppliers and other relations it collects data from. Personal data that is collected in any way whatsoever will only be used by BamBoek for the purpose you have provided the data for: to contact you if you have completed one of the contact forms on the website, for example. The information you provide will be treated confidentially by BamBoek. Processing of Personal Data is done in a manner that is in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

 

Purpose of the processing and stored data

BamBoek processes your personal data for entering into and executing agreements with you and for managing the resulting (customer) relationships with you. BamBoek also collects data for the administration to be carried out on your behalf to the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration and other authorities. BamBoek does not collect or use data for any other purpose than is stated in this privacy statement, unless BamBoek has received your permission to do so in advance. The personal data you provide will be treated confidentially.

BamBoek uses different types of applications to store your data. They are listed below.

 

Accounting

The Twinfield program is used to do our customers’ bookkeeping. With Twinfield, we’ve entered into a data processing agreement. Therefore, Twinfield’s privacy policy applies to the way we store personal data using their software: https://taxnl.wolterskluwer.com/al Algemene-voorwaarden/privacybeleid/.

Within Twinfield, we can store the following customer data:

  • Company name;
  • Chamber of Commerce number;
  • VAT number;
  • VAT identification number;
  • Annual frequency of VAT returns;
  • Contact person first name + last name;
  • E-mail address;
  • Telephone number;
  • IBAN;
  • BIC;
  • Company car data, including registration number.

 

Scan - and recognition software

In order to provide our bookkeeping services, BamBoek needs to process its customer’s invoices. For that, we make use of TriFact365’s scanning - and recognition software. We have entered into a data processing agreement with them. TriFact365’s security policy can be found here: https://www.trifact365.nl/sla/privacy/.

The following data can be stored in Trifact365:

  • Login data, consisting of a username and password;
  • (Company) name and (company) details;
  • VAT number;
  • E-mail address.

 

Newsletter

From time to time, BamBoek wants to inform its relations about important new developments, tips and possibilities in its field of work via a newsletter. The newsletter is only sent to people who have given us prior permission to do so. If you no longer wish to receive the newsletter, you can easily unsubscribe. You will then no longer receive our newsletters. We include an unsubscribe link in every newsletter. We use Mailchimp to send our newsletter. We can store the following information to our Mailchimp account:

  • Company name;
  • Company founding date;
  • Chamber of Commerce number;
  • VAT number;
  • VAT identification number;
  • Annual frequency of VAT returns;
  • Legal form;
  • Company car;
  • Participation in small business scheme (Kleine Ondernemersregeling, KOR);
  • Email address;
  • Telephone number;
  • Name;
  • Description of business activities;
  • Customer via;
  • IBAN;
  • BIC.

 

Other storage

In addition to the aforementioned software programs and applications, BamBoek also stores data via different communication channels - used in consultation with its clients - such as: 

BamBoek exercises extreme caution when using these resources and storing data. In doing so, data is also stored via the cloud using Apple’s iCloud programme. For Apple's privacy policy in this regard, please see: https://www.apple.com/nl/legal/privacy/.

 

Special and/or sensitive personal data we process

We do not knowingly collect data about website visitors under the age of 16 via our website and/or services. Unless they have parental or guardian consent and enter into a relationship with us directly, no data will be stored. However, we cannot check whether a website visitor is older than 16.

We therefore advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced we have collected personal information about a minor without permission, please contact us at thomas@bamboek.nl and we will delete this information.

 

Website visitor information and cookies

On its website, BamBoek uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer and can be read by a browser. By using the website, you agree to let us use cookies. For more information about cookies used, please have a look at the cookie statement on the website.

The data collected by BamBoek via this website is only used by BamBoek in accordance with the law - to improve our services and in a proper and careful manner. You can disable cookies that remember your preferences using the cookie bar that shows up when you visit our website (for the first time). You can also always set up your browser so you no longer receive cookies.

 

Retention period

BamBoek does not store your personal data any longer than necessary to achieve the purposes of the processing referred to in this privacy statement. This means that - with regard to payments to suppliers and payments from customers - the data is stored for as long as necessary in accordance with the legal requirements (remember tax obligations; 7 years).

BamBoek only processes the data in the Netherlands / in the EU / EEA. The data will never be provided to others, or to companies or organizations in third countries, without your permission.

 

Right to access, correct, transfer or delete

If you have provided BamBoek with personal data via the BamBoek website or via another channel, you have the right to request and view this data. Is the data not correct (anymore)? We are happy to change the data for you. Do you want us to transfer the data to you or do you want us to delete your personal data completely? That is of course also possible. In all cases, send an email stating your request to thomas@bamboek.nl so that we can get started with your request. BamBoek strives to process your request within 1 week of receipt. We may then ask for additional information, to help us identify the applicant (so that we can be sure the information ends up with the right person).

 

Changes

BamBoek reserves the right to change this privacy statement. Please refer to the privacy policy on the website for the most current version of the privacy policy.

 

Websites of third parties

This privacy policy only applies to BamBoek’s website. This privacy policy does not apply to any third party websites that are linked to the BamBoek website. Please refer to the third party's website to read the relevant privacy statement.
